I am a mother of two young girls and an elementary music teacher with the overwhemling desire to be a full time quilter. I graduated Indiana University of PA with a BFA with my major concentration in Fibers and Textiles and a minor in ceramics.

I was fortunate enough to spend a semester in Gubbio, Italy studying pottery with Maestro Leo Grilli.

My fascination with quilting, how ever, did not begin until after I had graduated college and was looking for a medium that I could easily work with at my home. I fell in love with quilting because each one is a separate work of art and the block designs and color palates are endless. To me, quilts are tactile puzzles just waiting to be solved as I arrange and rearrange the pieces until they are just right.
