I have always had a talent for art, so photography became a natural extension of that talent. I mostly love taking seascape photos and I like bright bold colors that stand out in a picture. I also love pictures that have a lot of confusing things for the eye to see. I love to share my pictures with other people and hope they enjoy them as much as I do. I use a Nikon camera because that's the one I chose at the start of my photography. I started shooting black and white photos back in 1982 and also was developing my own photos. I really enjoyed developing my own black and whites, later on I tried color and found it was too much guess work so I gave it up for awhile. When the home computer and the digital age came along I bought the Nikon D100 digital camera mainly because I already had several pieces of glass that would fit it at the time. Since then I have bought the D200 and the D300S, both are excellent cameras, but you have to remember, it's not the camera that makes the picture. I am also a firm believer that there's a picture anywhere you are.
