There are so many great photographers to see on flickr, and yet Marta stands out among the greats. Many of these photographers have wonderful images, but Marta's work makes me look deeper into life than I otherwise would have. Her work inspires me to improve my own. That is special. For example, her images from her beloved Spain. The b/w photos are perfectly balanced in tone and light. Once you've soaked in her Barcelona images, continue on and find the magic in her water shots, her portraits, and her still-life photos (a chain, a swing, an old pair of shoes). A photographer, and a constant source of encouragement to me and others, I'm lucky to call her a friend.
