I am a keen amateur photographer and have been taking photographs since my father gave me a simple Kodak box camera in my early teens, more years ago that I care to say.. My favourite subjects are outdoor scenes from mountains to seascapes, wildlife and places I have visited.

When Flickr introduced the 1000 images restriction I had to stop posting new pictures and as a result this collection ends around august 2018. I have also had to go through and delete well over 350 pictures posted prior to that time. It is a pity as I have continued to build my portfolio of pictures taken in and around South Africa but have yet to find a worthwhile place to share any of these. I simply don't see value in a Pro account when I am not trying to use my hobby for profit.

I hope that those who take the time to browse these pictures find some enjoyment in them ads do appreciate comments.
