Me, The Peripheries
I graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Electrical Engineering. The day I received my diploma was the best day of my life. Since April 1997, I have worked for an aircraft avionics instrumentation company. I love my job.
My wife and I met in a bar. I memorized her phone number but forgot her name. We married September 11, 1999. (I don't find that ironic.) I am loyal to her and my friends.
I am a handyman and can fix almost anything. I work well with others. I want to learn how to sail and how to play a guitar. One day I hope to make passages in the Atlantic and the Pacific on a trimaran I've refitted to run everything onboard on nothing but that which the sun and wind provide.
My Personality
I am very type-A and get bored easily, but I love the way it serves my desire to learn and expand my horizons. I think I am funny. I am a harmless 'flirt'. I love making others laugh. I am a good listener. I think I can solve everyone’s problems, but deep down know better than that. I am not afraid to speak my mind, which sometimes gets me in trouble.
I grew up in a 'rural hell', and I am proud of my escape. I think in depth about government, stereotypes, individual achievement, and personal altruism. I am not wasteful and am very concerned about our natural resources. I recycle everything possible. I like beer and Vodka. My cure is coffee, which I consider to be one of those things God gave us because he loves us. I am afraid of age and debt. I am my own best mentor. And I hope no one takes me too seriously.
My Cheap Camera
I just recently bought a Vivitar 8600S. I selected that camera because it is very portable, has 6X optical zoom and 8 Megapixels. It is my second camera, and I like it very much.
