I am Landscape Architect/Designer by profession and I am in love with polymer clay!

My chosen line of work helped me enhance my passion to create anything handmade. I think molding clay is innate within me because since I was a kid, I used to shape the clay whatever form I have in mind whenever mom and dad would buy ordinary clay.

My information about polymer clay started 3 years ago that this medium can be mold as cute character beads and use as a wearable art. I never pursue this curiosity in molding my own art not until I found pictures of some beautiful works using polymer clay on internet. And then I came across Angeli’s website and her yummy cupcakes. I got really interested again, started searching for information on polymer clay, bought lots of clay, tools and reference books and my new biggest addiction began!

Because my love of molding clays provides me an opportunity to attend workshops, tutorials, and trips to places to see exhibits of various crafts that now I am confident to create my own wearable art (dated May 2010 during 1st ClayFest Philippines *wink*wink*), as if I am just playing with it. That reminds me of my childhood days when I used to shape “Play Doh” clay into different forms.

With my love and potential in the field of arts,with a playful approach in creating handmade accessories, the name and trademark “I PLAYPOLYCLAY” was born.
