You never called me beautiful.

You always told me lies.

You’d say things like ‘I love you baby.’

But you never thought to wave goodbye,

When I walked home at nine o-clock,

You were never at my side.

You’d never kiss me in the rain.

You’d never hold me when I cried,

And tell me things like, “It’s ok.”

“It would have happened anyway.”

So I’m sorry that I’m awkward,

I’m sorry that I can’t stand still.

Or be your perfect angel,

When you’re perfect angels popping pills.

I’m sorry that I stay up late,

Waiting for your call,

Or fall asleep still waiting

When I knew you’d never call at all.

I never meant to show emotion,

Or I never meant for you to see.

But most of all,

I’m sorry I apologized

For the things you did to me.

Her photos are stunning. A young girl, with huge talent. I would have loved to have had half her talent when I was that age...I'd be rich now! Her poetry is beautiful. I love to read it. If photography or her gymnastics doesn't work out, she definitely has something to fall back on with her poetry. She always has nothing but nice things to say in her comments on my photos, and I appreciate every single one of them. She's AWESOME!
