Taking photos for about 6 decades, I thought I'd give myself a new account, having been a Flickr member for rather a long time as . I hope this one will stay nice and quiet; selfish I know, but I used to spend a lot of time writing rather boring and not-very-helpful comments about photos taken by a lot of very competent photographers.

Just been given a Fujifilm X20 - rather lighter than my Nikon D300 and the 4 lenses that I cart about! With a bit of luck and correct timing I might manage to get started with some street photography.

Update: the Nikon kit has gone - far too heavy to lug about now - and has been replaced with another Fujifilm, this time a CSC, the X-E2.
