Family Man and 40 yrs railwayman,all on the footplate. Just a few photos i took of the British locomotive scene in the decades 80's,90's and some more recent, that maybe of interest to a few.

As I've been in the locomotive driving grades all my working life, many of my photos shown here were taken while on duty. As such, I was authorised and competent to be where I was.

I currently work driving for a long distance express passenger operator. I still enjoy my job, it's what I wanted to do since childhood. I'm glad I've had the chance of driving everything from 3000 ton freights, loose coupled and vacuum braked trains up to and including the Royal Train.

Hope you enjoy the photos....I've added just about everything I have from the railway period 1981 to present day. I will continue to add more from time to time.
