Photography is an important part of my life, having indulged rather amateurishly for decades.

Yet, I still grapple with the problem: is photography art?

While chewing on the above, here are my special photographic interests:

The beauty of the human form, especially female beauty;

The beauty of nature, the land we inhabit, its animals and plants;

The beauty of great works of art, architecture, sculpture and painting;

The beauty of the Universe;

The beauty of technology and what it can do for us: aircraft, vehicles, ships.

A collection of images, all taken on my trips through the USA, of state capitols (also called "state houses")

Machines of lesser beauty, just for the technical interest they generate (some of these machines do not have peaceful purposes, unfortunately);

Stories. Too bad Flickr does not offer a feature that would allow to tell a picture story.
