My favourite past-time is watching wildlife and I have a great love of Birds, which I guess started aged 10 when my late Father gave me the Observers Book of Birds. Living in East Grinstead W. Sussex I'm lucky to be surrounded by beautiful countryside and the Ashdown Forest, which gives me many photographic opportunities.

Slightly on the wilder side, during my first game drive in Zimbabwe 1997, like most people I just wanted to capture what I saw to keep the memories going. Little did I realise at the time but this was when my love of photography began! Since then I've been fortunate to go to Namibia, Kenya and had many trips to South Africa. I love S.A's diversity, great wildlife and colourful birds, giving many first class Photographic opportunities.

I'm really impressed by the high standard of wildlife images on Flickr, particularly birds so if this is your Genre - a big thank you for posting your images for me and others to enjoy.
