February 2016
As a toddler I was fascinated by my parents box camera, and it's two little finders for vertical and horizontal pictures! At age twelve, I got a Ansco Panda , a plastic twin lens reflex, as a gift. By my late teens it was a Kodak Pony, and was processing and printing my pictures. In my late twenties, I had a Rolleicord and a Nikon S1, which I sold (unfortunately) and bought a OM-1.
After marriage, work. and kids, photography took a back seat.
Now retired, and six months from turning eighty, taking pictures keeps me relatively young, though I'm not as agile as I used to be, and interested in life.
I love looking at pictures on Flickr, especially the street shooters, which I frankly envy! I never had the nerve to confront people and take a picture.
