Just go and enjoy her photo stream and see the magnificent florals, creative collages, topical issues and added information to widen our experience. She has a love for life, a love of people and a generosity to be in awe of. I adore this talented lady, for she is such a good friend to so many here on Flickr. We sure need more Melissa's in this world.

Melissa is an anomaly for me. How can she have 908 contacts and have the time, energy and care to regularly browse my photostream and make wonderfully enthusiastic or observant technical comments on my photos? I admire the way she appears to commit all her energy to everything she does - photos, food, community work. I hope she relaxes with as much dedication! Her photos are mostly of a style I don't follow personally, but I love the range of photos she takes and the variety of groups she administers. Who else could make BEETS interesting? Her white flowers set is stunning. Take a browse through her sets and collections. You won't regret it. Bear.Bonnell aka Danuta Majchrowicz

In addition to being a great photographer, Melissa is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet on Flickr. When she comments on a photo, you can be sure it is indeed one she appreciates and she tells you why and what you have done with the image to make it special. She is not like so many of us who just type 'wonderful image' and go on our way. She relates her comments to the photo and the photographer...they are like visits from friends. Her photos are always inspiring...wonderfully captured images that show great skill as a photographer. Her Flickr friendship is a blessing to me.

Melissa's photostream is a work of art. Her flower portraits are masterly. But above all, she is a good Flickr friend. Quick to comment and always supportive. Thanks, Melissa.

A great photographer and a really sweet person. I especially like her floral macros as these are some of my favorite shots to capture also. She is also a person who takes the time to leave comments on my work, that I appreciate very much.’’ I recommend her photostream to everyone, check it out. Kevin

I have known Melissa for some time now as a Flickr member, and one of my most welcome contacts. I was drawn to her photos quite by accident through a comment about some Jewish event that I found well written and very informative. Since that time I have come to enjoy marvellous photos portraying her wide photographic interests, which are always so well presented. No inferior photographs are uploaded; and all photos are well explained. I am impressed with her meticulous attention to detail and her desire to inform properly. It is a delight to be engrossed in frequent food images, both or her culinary expertise, and those she takes at highly recommended eating places, all of which are a visual delight in the art of gourmet skills and knowledge. I am also impressed with her display from time to time in her photos, of her compassion in various areas. Sometimes one does not want to write too much in a testimonial but then it can be insufficient in covering what you want to say. When you follow Melissa's photos, you come the appreciate the multi-talented aspects of her life, such as her expertise as a food critic and interviewer and writer. On Flickr, it is a good all-round ability to have fine quality images, good background knowledge of the subjects the images represent, and images that are always capable of maintaining one's attention. Melissa meets all these aspects and I am pleased to write this as my assessment of her Flickr activities. (Ron)
