I got my first camera whilst studying Fine Art at Falmouth School of Art. It was a 35mm Nikon F2 with a macro lens which I used for studying patterns of natural Time. It was hard work as I found the technical side of it difficult. I put away my trusted camera 10 years ago as the technology changed for the ease of Nikon Coolpix and followed by Samsung Galaxy photography for fun.
Wild life and Nature photography is what inspires me, and in the last couple of years I have noticed how the latest digital technology is revealing just how amazing the biodiversity of Life is.
Thinking about getting a DSLR I joined Flikr to see what type of photography was possible with a new camera. I have been amazed by the beauty and quality of these photos, each time I log on I see that it is worth the effort of learning how to use a DSLR.
