I have recently retired from a lengthy career in mental/emotional health care clinical nursing as well as a nursing university educator. I consider myself highly educated, professional, intelligent, and kind. I am a Texas Master Naturalist. One who is an expert in the flora/fauna of Texas. Texas, USA has much diversity in cultural aspects and regions of climate. I hope my posts will inspire others or make a positive impact for a braver, kinder world. Visual aspects have always been portrayed in my novice photography.
I love my nuclear family that includes my husband, Dan, a West Highland terrier (Wolfgang), a schnauzer, (Sissie), a stark black, adopted cat (Little Survivor). I am now ready to do some "fun-related activities".
My likes are diverse: target practice, rescue of domesticated as well as wildlife, history/autobiography books (especially WWII, Vietnam War, snipers, weapons), all genre of music, art appreciation, archaeology, fashion, films, and anti-bully/mental health support groups. However, I love photography and have just purchased a Nikon D7000. I love all aspects of photography. My favorite subjects are wildlife, people going about their activities of daily living, cityscapes, landscapes, domesticated animals.
I have posted a few of my favorite artworks and photography that give a glean into my persona.
Thank you for your time to know me more. :)
