I'm Japanese.
I live in Osaka,Japan. My name is Jun-ya Matsunami. My screen name is
"Pur Sein!".
My first name is Jun-ya.
"Jun" means "pure" and "ya" means "be" in Japanese.
Therefore "Pur Sein!" means "be pure" in German and it indicates my
first name as well.
I use this German expression because my mother is a German teacher in
some colleges.
I have three brothers, and I am the second.
I do love music and cars.
My favorite music is progressive rock, baroque music, and 60's,70's &
80's.
I started listening to classical music because my dad usually played a
lot of classical music at home.
My dad plays the viola with his own amateur quartet.
In my family home, we have BÖSENDORFER piano, a harpsichord for
professional use, violins, violas, and a violoncello. Sometimes one of
the violas is leased to some professional players.
Occasionally some foreign amateur and professional players visit my family home to play
Johann Sebastian Bach's Brandenburg Concertos with my dad's quartet and
other additional players.
I was born in a family that loves music!
I play the violin and the guitar, but I like keyboard the best.
Among all kinds of keyboards I love Moog sound.
It is because Moog sound is very thick, very very warm, and very very
sensitive.
Moog sound is state of Art!.
I would like buy Minimoog Voyager and Moogerfooger in a near future
and I will practice how to play keyboard.
My favorite musicians are Keith Emerson,Rick Wakeman,Eddie Jobson and
much more.
Keith Emerson is almost like guru to me.
My vehicles are 1966's Porsche 356 Speedster replica and 1990's Suzuki
Jimny.
Music and cars are art to me.
So are the nature, photographs, pictures and humans, too.
Whenever I am asked "I'm gonna buy a drink, do you want me to buy
something for you?", I never fail to say "Minimoog, please!". Ordinary
people react like "Huh?" and my long long explanation about "moog" starts.
