Luc's work is wonderful to follow: I get lost in perusing his images, the variety and range of which excites me just when I think I've had enough. His attention to composition and detail is spell-binding, all the more because he favours minimalist settings and frames. His love of beauty radiates through his choices, whether they be human or material. His studies of buildings and art rival his meditations on the human body, especially the male body, at peace or in movement. His rendering of sexuality is only outdone by the stillness of his portraits; men in various forms of play rival men in states of meditation and reflection. His portraits, whether they be full-length studies placed in contexts or close-ups cropped to eliminate extraneous detail, always are kind, even when they are unforgiving. I marvel at the versatility and scope of his creativity and technical prowess. He's a Flickr find.

I have only known Luc for a relatively short time on Flkr... but in that period of time have come to discover a uniquely beautiful and sensitive human being. As you look over his photos you will find a photographer with a keen understanding of the human condition. His portraits of nudes are particularly charming, expressing a certain joy, even celebration of life, rathe than gratuitous sensuality. He also has a keen eye for the beautiful in the little and common things of life, and in his framing of them, gives to them a certain icon likeness.. a kind of sanctifying of what some might call the mundane or ordinary. You need only look at his recent picture of his leg to see how he magnifies what most of us might never notice. After meditation on his leg, I look at my ownleg differently, and notice other legs as well!! His photos are honest, even as he is.
