What to say? I am a shy attention whore.

I like to say what's on my mind. Given a choice between being honest and being nice, I'd choose to be honest 90% of the time. If it's possible to be honest as well as tactful, I try to do that, but I make no guarantees. That said, I have taken heed of the wisdom of Dan Savage and realize that there are times when it is better for everyone if you lie your ass off or at least be discrete when someone just wants to bury his or her head in the sand.
