After few decades of roaming around the UK, I currently live in Finland and snap a few photos here and there just for fun. I sold my Canon EOS 60D a few years ago and went mobile, but kept missing a proper camera too much and finally got myself a second-hand Nikon D750 and Nikkor 14-24 f/2.8 in early 2022 to start again. Experimenting with mobile was good, the camera always on you, ready in seconds, simple post-production and file transfers making the whole process very easy. Still, it's quite a different thing with a proper camera and I guess it's the chase for that perfect shot that keeps me at my feet. I find inspiration from a great number of other photographers, visual artists and creative efforts of all kinds, at all levels, here on Flickr and elsewhere and I cannot cease to wonder how the quality of so many portfolios has become simply astounding over the years. I'm forever grateful for all the likes, subscribes and comments, and wish you a great time with your photographic expedition, whatever it may be.
