Street Styles is an after school visual art workshop, created and taught by DAVe Warnke.

Street Styles is free and open to all high school students in San Francisco, California. Street Styles teaches students the history, techniques and styles of the global art movement known as street art. The mission of Street Styles is to educate and inspire youth to develop their own artistic style, to hone their skills and contribute to their communities in positive ways. Street Styles provides opportunities for all students to become creative, knowledgeable, discriminating and conscientious producers and viewers of art.
Street Styles goals are to:
. Promote creativity through inspiration and instruction.
. Provide a safe, supportive and fun learning and working environment.
. Teach the history and cultural context of street art.
. Discuss and debate the difference between art and vandalism.
. Encourage devotion to work.
. Give youth the experience of making art.
. Develop student's expressive and communication skills.
. Connect youth with the art community.
. Provide an opportunity for youth to show, trade and sell their artwork.
Street Styles is looking for support and supplies.

Fantastic work with the childrem, here in BRAZIL we need some peolpe like Dave, to teach some art to take away the childs from traffic that is so normaly to childrem with 12 years old in são paulo or rio de janeiro. peace!
