hurricane Katrina survivor, we hunkered down and rode out the storm to help out with S&R and other needed issues such as taking people to their homes and providing personal security service and protection. We do not ask a dime for anything we do, there is nowhere to spend it anyway! I would like to mention that we have yet to receive any assistance and have no clue when we will. My job is gone, I have not been paid and have no idea what I am going to do for money. Ford wants to take our truck (over my dead body or theirs), we have no essentials anymore because we are now broke and nobody seems to care. Its amazing when people needed help we were there - now we need it and nobody cares.
