I am a colorist in love with bright, clean colors – soft and soothing as well as vibrant and stirring.

After years of work as a court reporter -- a job that requires intense focus, attention to detail, and a great deal of structure -- I discovered watercolors and fluid acrylics. I first took art classes as a way of seeking balance and easing the tension in my soul. As any artist can relate, the magic soon claimed me. I am enveloped in an enchanting mystery when water, color, and brush meet.

I am an artist. I expect to always be a student too. I paint what fascinates me and dearly love exploring and experimenting. My art leans toward the whimsical and abstract, but every now and then I am compelled to paint a scene from my travels. The connective tissue is bright, clean color.
