I have been taking photos for quite a few years now but have never had them critiqued to any extent. Similarly I have not had occasion to view many photos taken by others.

Upon hearing about Flickr I figured that this was the answer I had been waiting for.

I am continually amazed and impressed at the quality of work displayed here and am now working very hard in order to emulate this quality and so improve my own work.

To this extent I would welcome any comments and critique offered not just the kind words but hints as to how any particular shot may be improved.

It is my intention to visit everyone who is kind enough to visit me.

I am presently using a Canon 70D digital camera with several dedicated lenses.

The process of Explore' is a great mystery to me...how do you get your images included. I have analysed images at some length to see what makes the accepted images so much better than mine and also to see what mine are missing so as to why my images are not acceptable. The result was total confusion and I was left in a state of disillusionment. What is the answer...who knows. The one thing I do know is that much of what appears in Explore I would have deleted where it mine.!!!!
