I am a amateur photographer mostly photographing the animals I love, and a few of their friends and relatives if I can. My style is distinctive and arguably naive. I do not aspire to the familiar art-photographer style, which is, in my eye, mainly about the cleverness and "artistry" of the photographer. I try to capture my experience of my subject. In the case of the animals I so often photograph, it's about them and not about me.

As on June 2019 I became the official photographer of my local (and very small) zoo, the animals of which have been and still are my main subjects.
