Since the earlyest days of my childhood I liked all kinds of literature and information about traveling, science and pictures from places all over the world.

When I grew older, I started to discover this lovely planet by my own. Because I did not want to forget any of the things I saw out there, I discovered the wonderful and almost boundless possibilities of photography. In those days, photography was not digital at all! Those were the days when photography was expensive because you had to take lots of films on each journey and processing them after retourning home was even more expensive.

At first, I was very sceptic when the first digital cameras appeared on the market. But it did not take long and I owned my first digital camera.

When the Nikon D300 appeared on the market, the era of conventional photography was at an end, at least for me.

My favorite countries are Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. They offer great landscape, wonderful experiences and are a photographer´s dream.

Today I focus on landscape photography, panorama photography and macro photography.

Especially macro photography provides completely new and close looks on all the things around and give me a short insight into the wonders in all the little things that surround us every minute of our lifes and are only rarely realized.

So, have a look at my pictures, enjoy wide, rugged, beautiful landscapes and close views to the little wonders of this beautiful planet!
