I'm a (very) amateur landscape photographer from Wrexham in North Wales. I picked up a DSLR camera for the first time in late 2012 to start learning astrophotography (I have a lifelong interest in astronomy), but after a couple of years I decided to switch to landscape photography to get me out of the house and exploring my rather beautiful home country that I had pretty much ignored for the previous 38-ish years. I try to get out as often as I can (which generally means weekends and holidays) which means I often miss the best light.
