I am a 66 yr old mother of 3 and grandma to 6 girls and 3 boys. I was born in western PA...go Steelers!

I spent most of my art life as a graphic artist working here and there with 22 moves in 20 yrs living in Germany for 7 of those years. (my ex-husband was in the Air Force for 20 yrs).

In '95 I was diagnosed with MS and I stayed with my State job until Jan of '02. I began to loose the use of my dominant right hand so I decided to go to a local Community College to teach my left hand to do what my right used to. I took watercolor painting from '03 to '07 (I had to quit driving then) and am still painting although very slowly. I love it!! I use it to keep my mind off of those pesky little aches and pains that come along.

I paint the things I love and not what I think other people would like so I really paint for me. I do some amateur photography and take shots I think would make a good painting. I also take just reference shots like clouds and trees and flowers I think would fit in. AZ seems to be great for lighting and shows the beautiful colors nicely so there are never "bad" shots here and the sunsets are like no other!
