I have been fascinated with photography since getting an Instamatic for my 8th Birthday, in 1979.

After a long hiatus during the 90s, my passion was rekindled after buying the first digital SLR camera that I could afford. I have subsequently realised that it's even sometimes possible to achieve compelling results with a smartphone!

My photography has recently shifted away from the purist straight-out-of-camera ideal to an any-means-is-valid approach to achieve the image I have in my head when I spot something (any means - in terms of image post-processing that is ;-)).

That said, I do usually prefer the end result to have a natural look.

Over the past 2 years, I have started applying my experience to professional photo assignments.
