I've had a camera in my hand since I was 10. My first camera was a kodak brownie and I still have some of those old photos. I've documented mine and my entire families life in film in one form or another. I am the keeper of the photos. My grandmother was an avid photographer. I have pictures of hers going back to the 1920's and her mothers pictures going back to 1865. I love photography and I ALWAYS have my camera with me. In recent years I have had the privilege to be able to travel to other states and other countries with my camera. I absolutely love taking candid shots of people. Those shots that can only occur once in a lifetime are rare but can be the most rewarding. I plan to go back to Ireland next spring for the, as John Kelly told me, spring lambs. He says it's something to see. I look forward to further documenting my life and travels.

I also use Aperture from apple. It's a great inexpensive but fantastic program for processing photos. I try not to doctor my photos too much. I believe if I didn't get the shot then I didn't get the shot and no amount of doctoring is going to fix it. I strive to be true to the photo and let it speak for itself.
