Bolmsö Island Camping is located on the beautiful island of Bolmsö in lake Bolmen, the largest lake in south of Sweden (184 sq. km) with surroundings full of places for adventures. To get to the island there is a bridge if you come from the east or if you come from the west a free cable ferry.

At the heart of this spectacular nature we offer our visitors a small family campsite with personal service. Close to the lakeshore with a splendid view we provide lodging facilities in one our 12 small cottages (14 m2) with 4 beds and the necessary equipment.

Charming camping grounds under old oak trees with a vast lake view, with electricity connection for caravans and motor homes. We also have some places near the woods perfect for those who want to relax or put up a tent.

A modern service house with showers, toilets and kitchen complete our facilities. For the families with children are also a picturesque sandy beach, playground and miniature golf available.

On the island of Bolmsö are plenty of nature experiences waiting for you. A discovering trip with one of our canoes to some of more than 300 islands in the lake, rent a boat and try out your luck fishing pike, perch or brown trout, or simply follow one trail into the forest, perhaps you can find an elk that is also enjoying a sunny day…

For those guests who want to taste the regional cuisine we offer the menu of our restaurant “the heron” with specialities like game and fish.
