The principle reason to add us as a friend, family or both is our network on Flickr.

We have one of the truly exceptionable networks of groups, friend, family and contacts on Flickr. If someone, or a group, is in our network, then they are active, adult, real, fun polite and intelligent – we surmise that is exactly what you are seeking as well.

A lot of time-consuming work has been expended, in working with everyone, to build this network. Exchanged emails, individually written, have been very rewarding and is a very important part of this network.

If you are contacted, it is an individual email from us, just between us. Mass emails are impersonal and usually counter-productive – unless the email is some type of group, to which you belong, announcement, an emergency or an epic event that needs to be shared.

SPAM is a pariah that we all suffer unenthusiastically; therefore, we want to be clear that this unique network of groups, contact, friends, and family – all of us – will not appreciate anyone who acts inappropriately.

“Adult lifestyle” rules are “always” in effect; respect and observe those conventions, without exception, and you will be respected while having a truly excellent life experience. If you are unclear on “adult lifestyle” rules, check them out on-line, the chief benefits of these rules are time tested and when observed, elevate everyone. Thank you and May peace be with you.

Now, let us get the nasty stuff out of the way

... If you BLOCK us for simply making you a contact, we will BLOCK you back. That way your account gets the same treatment as ours.

Excessive Blocking will get your account deleted - that is a huge waste of time, especially if you have spent hours building a great network.

Here is the acceptable solution instead of blocking, do NOT accept the invitation to become a friend or family. Just do not answer the invitation, and refrain from using the blocking option.

Without YOUR acceptance, NOTHING happens. Your account remains exactly the same and the persons you ignore, just "go away". Blocking is to be used ONLY for a persistent pest that does not get the idea that you do not want them in your friend or family circle. Blocking is not designed to be used a political statement against someone who had a different orientation than yourself.

Besides, BLOCKING is just plain rude. Blocking a simple requester that wants to become a contact is, as rude as, the persistent jerk who will not take "no" for an answer.

Additionally, if you claim that you are justified in blocking someone because of a blanket statement in your profile – sorry, that is rude as well – this is a free service open to everyone.

Act like a “prima donna” – then expect a result you will find unpleasant.

A polite “no thanks” or ignoring any request should be sufficient, if not, block them.
