Photography for me is one of the greatest passions in my life. I love the beauty, the light & the technical aspects of the trade. Love might not last too long, friendships can come & go but a picture is forever... eternal & timeless.

I personally like portaits better than landscapes even though I really apprecciate a beautiful lanscape.

I have been taking pictures for about 25 years off and on. Strarted with film, which gave me a great experience in seeing light through a continious light & flash meter. It was exciting to wait & finally see the finished product on slide or a print. I didn't even notice the film grain.

At about the year 2,000 I bought my first digital camera (an advanced point & shoot, a Canon G3, and sold my Nikon with flashes & lenses.

Digital gave me the opportunity to fine tune my pictures & to have a much more polished finished product as photoshop & portrait professional did. As much as I love photography, it has not been my main source of income. For years I worked in advertsing and later on on in marketing & sales for the optical industry. Presentley I'm self employed running an optical retail store.

Over the last year I have stared doing 35mm & am loving the grain, the shallow focus of the prime lenses & even the unpredictable nature of film.
