I am retired and am an amateur photographer. I enjoy taking an eclectic mix of photographs. I enjoy going out for day trips with other friends who are also photographers, to interesting locations, such as castles, country parks or interesting scenery. One of my favourite trips was to the Farne Islands in Northumberland. The sea birds and scenery were spectacular. I'm also enjoying my new local area to capture anything of interest. Having just moved from Yorkshire to Liverpool there are plenty of new opportunities to capture.

I particularly enjoy looking at other Flickr friends images from around the world to see what interests them and to learn from them.
