i am a professional photographer in new york city. i support myself by photographing weddings, events and architecture and show my fine art photography in galleries and exhibitions. i've had my hand in a lot of different things over the years. i've also worked as a cinematic videographer and director. currently, i am trying to stay focussed on the new york celebrity scene and am looking to explore that as a way to make a living. i like the challenge of taking a great picture with only a second or two of preparation. that is what i am currently fascinated by as i photograph celebrities at red carpet events. my goal is to be doing editorial celebrity portraiture within a few years and to continue to push my fine art exhibitions at major galleries worldwide.

a few years ago i started a project called "rising snowflakes" a photographic exploration of breast cancer reconstruction. it was a wonderful and powerful experience and i am looking to build on this project while finding the next great project in my short and humbling career.
