My life-long hobby has been building model railroads. My latest undertaking was inspired by the late Herman Howard who built the outdoor model railroad at the Los Angeles County Fair in Pomona, CA starting way back in 1924. All of these models are built from scratch (none are commercially available) to a scale of 1:22.6 and 2-1/2" gauge.
