Lecturer in Photography (Foundation Degree and A Levels) at City of Bristol College.

I first saw a black and white photo developed by my friend Tony in London in 1976 and was hooked!

Much amateur shooting and hours + hours in the darkroom followed.

I am a self taught photographer.

Between 1987 and 2002 I worked as a freelance photographer based in Bristol.

From 1990 I taught photogfraphy part-time.

By 2002 I found myself enjoying the teaching and not enjoying the freelancing and was lucky enough to move into full-time teaching.
