I began writing graffiti in 1988, and by the summer of 1989 had graduated to bombing and piecing trains, helped along by the LT one day strikes. These offered the opportunity to hit yards like Gloucesters, Parsons, and White City during the summer days, an opportunity not available in the same way since. I was most active up until the late 90's, when domestic life and one arrest too many conspired to retire me from illegal graffiti.

For the next 12 years I didn't touch a can of paint, and I didn't really see much point in painting legally (still a poor substitute even now). Eventuallly, encouraged by the re-appearance of many old names on the scene, I started painting legal spots, using my old tag, in 2012.

For 2013, 25 years after I first started, I wanted a new approach. My old tag was associated with some fairly grim times. I wanted a new tag that represented something more optimistic, and that represented my life now. As such, I settled on 'Faith'. I was baptised as a Roman Catholic in Easter 2012, so it has a meaning close to my heart. The letters also worked for me, any writers main criteria.

The aim is to do at least a dozen Faith pieces in 2013. I make no claims to be a style master, and the pieces are all in what I would call classic London style. Hopefully there will be some progression and improvement as the year goes on, but as long as I'm happy, and I get a photo for the albums, that's all that matters.
