I am 47 years old and have always been fascinated by photos. I started taking pictures as my main hobby in 2004 and enjoy viewing the work of others, visiting photographic exhibitions and getting out and about with my camera, when I get the rare chance to do so. I live in Staffordshire and most enjoy taking pictures of wildlife and landscapes and

documenting events.

I love delving into the history of photography and viewing the work of great photographers. Robert Doisneau, Margaret Bourke-White, Cartier Bresson, Eve Arnold, Astrid Kerchherr, David Bailey, David Doubilet and Annie Liebovitz are among my favourites. I'm also interested in astrophotography.

I'm not entirely sure how things should work on Flickr and thus far, have just viewed peoples profiles and left comments at random. I hope this is ok and that no one is offended by a stranger commenting on their work. If anyone is, please let me know.
