I took up photography as a hobby after retiring as an academic at the University of York in England in 2008. I enjoy taking photographs of a wide variety of subjects, but membership of the Royal Photographic Society’s Travel Group gives me the excuse to travel overseas with my wife (also a retired academic) as much as possible!
