I love to sew and find hand stitching very relaxing. My quilts are modern and usually bright. Amy Butler and Kaffe Fassett are two of my favorite designers with Bonnie and Camille. Love 1930's fabric especially the pastels with animals and children and my current passion is for Japanese fabrics.Scraps and notions are my favorite swap extras...prefer not to receive any edibles. I don't usually like muddy colors, batiks, dark orange, brown, dark red. Green has never been my go to color until now. I once read that you never see a flower that clashes with its green stem and I've adopted that philosophy with my quilting. In my next life I will have my dream sewing studio!
