I started out with an Minolta SLR around 1975 and shot it until around 1995 when I moved into digital. Having recently retired,I now have the time to pursue my passion for photography and have most of the equipment I need.

I am looking for contacts that share my passion for photography because we are on the same journey. I will view many of your photos and comment on the ones I find interesting and hope you will do me the same courtesy. Constructive criticism would be valued. Flickr is especially interesting as many of us live all around the world giving us the opportunity to see images from, well, pretty much everywhere.

I mostly shoot where I live in North-East Iowa. It is a rural area with a lot of natural beauty. I enjoy many types of photography and am in the process of learning about HDR and photoshop.
