My grandmother was the first person to share her love of photography with me. I always admired her for her love of adventure, the outdoors and her strong independence. She had an interesting personality and was not like any other person in my life. I feel so lucky to have been inspired & guided by her in many ways.

A few years ago I really started to become more serious about photography and purchased my first camera with interchangeable lenses. If you are like me, I carry my camera everywhere, so I opted for a micro four thirds system because of the weight difference primarily. The majority of my photos have been and are currently being taken with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX9 which I absolutely love!

I enjoy capturing a variety of images and moments but it's sure a treat when I come across an abandoned property. The thought that a decrepit house was once new and that it was someone's dream home that now contains just memories within its walls has a tendency to really draw me in.
