As the Eclectic Metalsmith, I am a coppersmith. While many jewelers work with gold and silver, I find copper warm and inviting. I can make it soft and malleable or firm and supportive.

While much of my current work uses etching to develop designs on jewelry and bookends, it is evolving and becoming larger and more varied over time. I love what I call "pounding on copper", which is actually forming copper into various shapes using jeweler's hammers and other tools. My central Mass. studio is my playground.
