Born in Wauseon, Ohio, Tammy Gillespie’s love of art surfaced at a young age. Entering and winning local art contests encouraged her to pursue art in college.

Now residing in San Diego, California, with a background in computer production art, Tammy’s passion for charcoal and paint under her nails is still evident. With an evolving style and willingness to try different mediums, such as painting murals, treasure boxes, lamps and other found objects, Tammy’s intention is to inspire and be inspired with art. A lot of her art holds a spiritual connection for her and hopefully for others too. Recently Tammy’s charcoal drawing of Buddha and painting of Rome Angel have been showcased at Inspirations Gallery, NTC at Liberty Station in San Diego.

Along with her artistic endeavors, Tammy also loves to volunteer with organizations, such as Rainforest Art Project and Family Matters, that inspire children to have fun, be creative, and get a little messy with art.
