For me, the art of photography is portraying the familiar the way I see it, or imagine seeing it. I make images to express my love of the world. I’ve been a photographer for over 40 years. I create images in all stages of entropy including barns, buildings, animals, landscapes, lakes, people and lots more. When I make images, it allows me to explore my world around me. I enjoy the resulting image and the response I receive from my community. That response is always different from individual to individual. It can be global, cultural, personal or a combination of all three. I hope that my images showing the deterioration of Wisconsin barns, vintage outboard motors, our world’s cities and our environs arouse your passions and appreciation.
