I am a retired headteacher, married with 16 grandchildren and 2 cats.
Since I wrote the first line, there have been 3 more children, and there is now 1 cat, currently asleep in the bath.
I am now 81 and find that a moth-trap provides me with a very interesting and prolific suject for study, and in some ways an easy subject to photograph, since moths hangs around in the sun while butterflies and birds are more restless. A good moth photograph is still achieved by a small number of gifted. Most of mine are fair to quite good. But there we are.
I was a specialist in creative art photography, but now get around less in places where subjects offer themselves. Nothing goes on forever.
