Thankfully, I saved my "old glass" from my Nikon F3 film camera. I now can take better pics with those lens on the Nikon D7000 than the F3 was ever capable of.

My favorite lens is the 105mm f1.8 followed by the 20mm. The 55mm micro is great for "technical" pics. The 300mm stays in the case, I can not figure out how to take a 9X magnification pic, maybe some day.

I am more comfortable with a welding rod than a camera.
