I began my railway career at the mighty Stratford mpd as a 16 yr old second man in September 1972. Became fed up with the shifts and transferred to suburban passenger guard at Stratford in April 1975. displaced by Doo in 1990 transferred to Euston where I’m still based 30 years later as a train manager
