I am very new to photography. It is my lofty aspiration to actually learn how to use my camera (Canon Rebel XSi). When time permits, it would be nice to learn about lighting. Viewing others' photos on Flickr has been a good teaching tool. If nothing else, it gives me a deeper respect and appreciation for photography.

I live in the Washington, DC suburb of Vienna, Virginia and practice public relations in Alexandria, Virginia. I have been known to brew beer at home and I enjoy running with the DC Hash House Harriers.
