I'm an Art History student with a focus on American Art and Photography.

Some of my major influences are Man Ray, William Eggleston, Stieglitz, Paul Strand, Cartier-Bresson, Walker Evens, Berenice Abbott and Kenneth Josephson.

I am interested in colors and the way they interact with each other. How they can overwhelm or be overwhelmed by a scene and how they help divide and create form. I am also interested in reflective surfaces and being social with the world.

I am also interested in the mundane and banal life. One thing to remember when photographing everyday life is that it is quite boring to us...just as the work of William Eggleston was probably boring to him just as everyday life, but he made it interesting by seeing it differently.
